Upcoming Workshops

Let’s go upside down! This is a workshop for those interested in inversions & arm balances, like headstand, forearm-stand, crow/crane, and handstands. We’ll work on setting foundations, alignment, getting safely into and out of poses, and how to fall properly, as well as fun variations of each. There are many different modifications of each pose – always a way to make something more accessible or more difficult, so this workshop is open to beginners (e.g., who can’t yet do headstand) as well as advanced students (e.g., who already have a handstand).
Christina is a trained acrobat performing in Europe and is home for the summer to teach us some techniques!
Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing.
A key feature in restorative yoga is the use of props such as blocks, bolsters, or blankets. The props help you hold passive poses for longer without exerting or tiring out your muscles. It also allows you to feel comfortable and supported, regardless of your experience with yoga
