Sydney Fisher
Sydney Fisher has been faithfully practicing yoga for nearly 20 years, and instructing for 12. She loves helping students get curious about their bodies’ movement, and learn to listen to themselves. Sydney’s practice has shown her that Yoga teaches us how to trust ourselves, and aims to give us tools to process our emotions, our everyday struggles, our aches and pains. Yoga’s philosophy of liberation is her daily guide in life.
She has completed 500 hours of yoga training in vinyasa yoga and restorative yoga, as well as mat pilates teacher training. (Nosara Yoga Institute, Yoga Vida, Balanced Body Pilates) She taught classes at studios in Brooklyn, NY and led retreats in Central America and Upstate NY before moving to Yonkers in 2022. Sydney’s classes are playful with focus on breath and feeling good.
