New Class / Pose of the Month Challenge

Starting this Wednesday , May 20th

We  are adding Chair Yoga to our schedule

these classes are 45 minutes long and are great for seniors as well as  those with knee and back injuries

May’s pose of the month is Star Gazer Pose –

a beautiful shape and a wonderful stretch !

Since we cannot take pictures of our yogis as usual

we need you to #showusyourstargazer

At  the end of the month we will pick a winner

Schedule Change /Upcoming Workshops /New Classes

We hope you all are well

As the weather gets nicer we are starting our weekend classes earlier so you can get outside for a while .

Saturday BASIC and Sunday BASIC PLUS will be  at 10 am  stating May 16th

New Class 

We have had a request for a CHAIR YOGA class

for our local seniors

on Wednesdays at 10:30am

We hope to have it running next week ( we will keep you updated )

 

WORKSHOPS

We have three WORKSHOPS upcoming

and need your feedback for scheduling

We thought 5pm on Sunday might work

 please let us know .

The plan is  to have them up for registration in the coming week .

 Also let us know if there is a class/workshop you would like to see

 

TRUE BEGINNER

This is a great time for people who have been nervous to come to the studio , to learn the basics from the privacy of their own home

WHEEL WORKSHOP

You will need a Yoga Wheel for this one . If yours is at the studio , let us know when you want to pick it up . They can be found on Amazon and the most popular size is 12 inches .

RESTORATIVE

We could all use a little escape from the tension and anxiety of our new reality . We will use props you can find in your house to relax into restorative poses that will ease pain and relax our bodies and minds

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from our Yoga family and beyond .

We are so moved , grateful, hopeful , inspired and uplifted by your response . People gave from their hearts , even if they we struggling themselves .

We will never forget what has been given to us ❤️ or how fortunate we are to have the love and support of this community

and to also have our health when so many are suffering and scared .

We must always remember all the angels lost to this tragedy

We never thought we would be here .

When we started our little studio 7 years ago we had dreams helping as many people as we could, find , what we had  found in our Yoga practice .
We wanted to show people how to  use Yoga to relieve stress and pain , to make space in their bodies , their minds and their lives.

What we didn’t realize was that a community would rise up around us .

Being at the studio 7 days a week is hard but so rewarding in many ways .  We don’t get to see our own families very often but we have come to know the love and support of this community , our Yoga family.

We celebrate each other’s accomplishments and birthdays , new additions,engagements and marriages  as well as support each other through hardships and losses. We will never forget the outpouring of love we received after the death of our beloved Babu , our studio dog , just days before we had to shut down .

We scrambled to learn the technology to keep the classes going on-line, for our physical and mental well being , as well as that of our Yoga family . The sense of community  is still palpable during our online classes ( we love to see your faces after class , we miss you all so much ) .

We never thought we would be here.

On the brink of losing it all .

We are going through a difficult time and we are reaching out for support in hopes that we have a space to return to when the dust has settled . When we can see you all in person again and hug each other .

We cannot wait for that day !

Remember you can get a recording of any live class to watch on your own time

( within 24hrs of the class as we have to erase them to make space for new ones )

We will be live streaming classes with Zoom , starting Friday 3/20 . Check out the schedule below .

So find yourself the perfect spot

( preferably with a wall space if you are going to do inversions ).

Get your props ready

( you can use books for blocks and pillows or blankets )

Find your favorite music

( you can follow our playlists on Spotify – we are Chrissy Mac)

Make sure you have a Savasana song .

Grab some essential oils , a scented candle crystals or anything that puts you in your Yoga zone .
